Custom Design Axminster Carpet

Axminster, a traditional woven carpet developed over 250 years ago for royal residences, is now used almost universally in the finest luxury cruise and river cruise due to its beauty, capability of rendering complex, crispy clear patterns and long term durability.

Our carpets create the atmosphere that your customers long for and at the same time are a durable solution. Our Axminster carpets contain a tried and tested mix of 80% premium wool and 20% nylon. This blend offers the best of both worlds and therefore is the optimal blend for high quality Axminster carpets. Desso only uses the finest premium grades of wool from trusted resources, blending the most elegant and durable varieties of wool deemed optimal for fine carpet quality.

The Desso design department has a world of experience in tailoring our products, being able to render virtually anything into carpet. Putting customers on the inside track, we translate inspiration into designs while taking practical and commercial issues such as seam and waste reduction into account.

This flooring product is Wheelmark (MED) certified.

In compliance with the international Convention for the Safety of Life at sea (SOLAS) for use on ships and offshore installations. Specified standard: IMO Res. MSC. 307 (88) - (FTP Code), Annex 1, Part 2. Material not to be capable of producing excessive quantities of smoke & toxic products or not to give rise to toxic hazards at elevated temperatures.

Specified standard: IMO Res. MSC. 307 (88) - (FTP Code), Annex 1, Part 5. Surface materials and primary deck coverings having a surface with low flame-spread characteristics and to be not readily ignitable.
